For quite a while I have been extremely struggling throughout most of everything in my life. My personal life wasn't going the way I wanted, I haven't been winning nowhere near as much as I had in golf, poker, and most of all the ability to live a happy life. Unable to feel comfortable in my shoes and constantly trying to figure what to do next. Being desperate I and unable to to figure out what to do next I did something that gives me great joy but also kills me when I go on losing streaks and that is gambling. I'm not shy to admit it I love to do it and when it starts going bad it really goes bad for me.
So after deciding to take a 6 week break and focusing on how to fix my life I discovered the ability of positive thinking. During the time off I started to focus on just myself and trying to make me a better person, friend, relative, and the what is becoming near the top of my list to being a student who actually wants to be one instead of one who hides in school, while attempting to dodge the real world. It has been the best decision I could of made because I got into all the classes I wanted including the ones I need in order to get my AA degree within the next year. Including becoming the sports editor of Cabrillo College newspaper The Voice. I feel very happy and honored to be and I will not let sports readers down.
While I could of just lost it and given up I decided to sit back take a deep breath and find myself by constantly believing in positive thinking. Always remaining positive throughout and day by day my self confidence started to comeback and before I knew it something just went off in my head and it said your ready to go back. Now three weeks after I starting reading and believing in the ability of positive thinking my golf and poker games are better then they have been in months. I got to become sports editor of The Voice. I am continuing to mature everyday and am just looking forward to the next day to see what kind of positive impact I can make. Today my personal, social life, and extra curricular activities life are becoming fun again and when I'm having fun the fun doesn't stop with me because I try and spread the fun around for all to enjoy.
So a happy Ryan is back and I just wanted to let you know that through the power of positive thinking I went from the lowest of depressions to being a very happy man today. If I have done anything to help lift somebody's spirts then I have done my good deed for the day. I will continue to do so as long as I can because if positive thinking can change things for the better for me they will surely do the sam for you.
